Watch the highlights of the AFG vs. ZIM match from the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe today, Thursday, February 16, 2017. All teams are currently practising for the ICC Champion’s Trophy 2017, and the Zimbabwe ODI team is currently engaged in a five-match series against Afghanistan, a team known for its unpredictability. I believe this will be very beneficial for Zimbabwe as they get in shape for the upcoming competitions.

Zimbabwe needs matches, and they need them desperately if only to figure out who their best is. To say they have very little idea of that is putting it mildly. To that end, Zimbabwe has named a squad that includes six changes from the one that played in a triangular series against Sri Lanka and West Indies in November. That’s almost half the squad that is different, and it suggests they are still very much in a look-and-see phase.
